My Name is Rabin Gurung. I am a Government License holder and registered Mountain Guide in Nepal. Having had decades of experience as a trekking guide, I am now working as a Professional Trekking Guide and Tour Operator as well as managing director of Everest Trekking Routes which is a Local brand Trekking Agency in Nepal. I started my career in the Travel Tourism sector being a porter and successive years of struggle and continuation made me a travel guide in 1997. I have good communication skills and am fluent in English and Malaysian languages. I also possess hands-on experience of working in several trekking agencies as a professional adventure mountain guide. And now, I have hundreds of clients from around the globe who have spent Nepal holidays with me in the past days and want to travel with me every time they come to visit Nepal

My decades of experience in the tourism sector have taught me very much. I have faced the inevitable ups and downs in this sector and have gained extensive practical knowledge about the best hiking destinations in this great Himalayan nation. I am a thoroughly well-prepared guide for city sightseeing tours, trekking adventures, and mountaineering. For the last fifteen years, I have pursued a career in travel tourism and now I am a Tour Operator and Founder of Everest Trekking Routes, which aspires to provide first-class trekking/mountain guide services to valued clients from all nations.

On the ground, I have become very familiar with most of the trekking routes, touring locations, and peak climbing campaigns in the Nepalese Himalayas, including those in the Everest Base Camp Trek, Annapurna Base Camp Trek, Langtang, Wilderness Trekking regions, and many others of the newer trekking destinations. I am also familiar with the trekking opportunities in Upper Mustang Trekking, Manaslu Circuit Trekking, Ganesh Himal, Kanchenjunga, Upper and Lower Dolpo, Makalu, Helambu, Rupinala, Tsum Valley, and many others in and out of Nepal, the latter including Tibet, Lhasa, and Mount Kailash Tours. From my adventures in the world-popular travel destinations of Nepal, I have accumulated a very good knowledge about the history, culture, local flora and fauna, and the environmental issues of the areas I frequent. I am always ready and eager to make available to mountain adventure aspirants the benefits of my professional knowledge and experience, enhancing value to the client. I have every confidence in assuring my clients that I can accommodate the challenging and rewarding high-mountain adventures that they seek. With respect to those greater challenges, prospective clients may also be interested to learn that I have gained personal experience in climbing Mera Peak, Island Peak, Pisang Peak, Labuche Peak, Kwandge Peak, Chulu West Kalapatthar, Gokyo Peak, and many others. I also have led expeditions across many high passes in Nepal, including Larkye Pass, Tilicho Misokanto Pass, Everest Three Passes, Tashilapcha Pass, Ganjala Pass, Thorong La Pass, Upper Mustang Lomanthang, Dolpo, Makalu Base Camp, and Kanchenjunga.
